OK - I'm a 40 yr old male, 6'1" and 240 lbs.
Went to my doc a couple weeks back and let him know some of the issues I have been having. Lack of energy, endurance, sex drive, etc. I know that most of those symptoms are supposedly a part of getting older, but just because I'm 40 doesn't mean I want to slow down or suffer performance wise.
So - he had labwork done.
Test - 338 (250-1100 ng/dL)
Test - Free % - 2.61 (1.5 - 2.2%)
Test Free & Total, (LC/MS/MS) - 89.2 (35-155 pg/mL)
I picked up results from lab - will see the Dr. later in the week. I'm expecting him to say that is normal. What alternate courses aside from TRT should I hope that he'll pursue? I know that TRT probably isn't needed, because while 338 is on the low end, its not catastrophic.
I've read alot of threads here and at other boards - but I'd like some opinions on this from you guys. Thanks.
Oh - all the other bloodwork was normal, cholesterol was really good too. My diet isn't bad, but I gain weight WAY too easily.
