I need some advice regarding work stress/anxity

I have a decent diet now. I go to the gym 3 times a week.
but
i have this problem. When i work after 2-3 hours i feel really stressed/anxiety/shaky. Its whenever im doing deep thinking to figure out a problem i start feeling like that.

i used to have intense anxiety about a year ago. Simple things as even driving a car or watching a movie caused me anxiety. That went away on its own though. But the anxiety/stress from work is still there.

At this rate im not going to be able to do the things i need to do. i've been avoding work for 2-3 months now. I work on the computer but im sure if its any job where i have to constantly use my brain then after 2-3 hours i will feel burned out mentally. Do i need to slow my thinking? is that possible?

Do i have to just get a simple job where i dont have to use my brain?

I remember like 2-3 years ago i had no work anxiety problems. I could work 15 hours straight and be ok.

What can i do about that? What options do i have?

I was told to try out suntheanine (theanine) 200 mgs and that would help me with the stress.
also was told im in "beta state too much" and need to goto "alpha state"

My b-12 also showed up low. Im taking supplement for that now.

i used to drink/smoke for 5 years but stopped about 2 years ago. Could it be that messed up my brain? is there any tests to find out if my brain is ok?

any advice is greatly appreciated.

No-brainer jobs don't usually pay well :)

Check your adrenals (cortisol may be low) and blood glucose levels (needed for brain activity). When you get this feeling, use a cheap glucose meter to see where you're at. May just be hypoglycemia, and correctable by eating more quality snacks during these times.

my cortisol first time i checked was 6.6
next test 10.0

my recent one about 3 weeks ago
was 27

I will be taking the Rhein 24 hour urine test maybe that can tell the story.

i actually have the glucose meter. I just checked it right now and it was 99. then tested again it was 82. And i ate about 3 hours ago. do you know the normal ranges?

when i used to drink liquor i used to feel like this for 2-3 days. then i checked my blood glucose and it was around 40, very LOW. so since then i stopped drinking, i guess my body cant handle it. i read that alcohol can cause problems with blood sugar levels.

Weird differences. You want it 15-20. Have you done a 4x saliva test to see how it behaves all day?

IIRC, normal for a "random" glucose test is 80-150, depending on when & what you ate. Some people naturally run lower but feel fine. I have hypoglycemia and don't feel good when I'm <90. At <80 I start to feel dizzy and hunger pains.

Whoa 40 is crazy low, like comatose.

Sounds like textbook low cortisol.

You are going to hate this but I would try to avoid caffeine too.....very bad for adrenals.

Once everything is sorted out maybe you could ask your Doctor for a regular B-12 injection that could help.

i stopped having caffeine about 2 years ago when i found out i had anxiety, it used to make it worse.

so if i get the 4x saliva cortisol test and the rhein urine test, then i can know for sure if i have adrenal fatigue? and which doctors would be best to go to for treatment.

thanks

Have some good sex with your loving GF.
anything that could be boothering u ? job relationship ect?

If you have had this anxiety to such a degree that are avoiding coffee, you need to be treated with tranqs and SSRI's IMO this can re-set your physiology and eliminate the problem. Dont let it dominate your outlook. Its treatable and curable. JMO

Bang on there. Would supplement with B5, vit.C, B100, seasalt etc for adrenals and see if helps. Worked 4 me straight away.
HC is greatt for adrenal fatigue but as a last resort.

As low cortisol will cause hypoglycemia stick to your rivita, protein and bad tasting food in general :pizza:

Ps - check your thyroid also.
