Old:
50mg pregnenolone
150mg dhea time release
160mg T a week split tues/fri
137mcg synthroid
.6mg a'dex
total testosterone: 1200
e2: 11
free testosterone: 4(i think) on a scale of 1 - 2.70
New:
50mg dhea time release
137mcg synthroid
160mg T a week split tues/fri
no a'dex, waiting for my levels to return to baseline, then going to test, now that my testo. and thyroid meds are set.
results: great except for usual e2 not in range sides: no libido, fat distribution is crappy, etc. receded hairline, more hair on body, deepening of voice, faster sprinter, stronger lifter
1500 IUs HCG E3D with .5 mg of Arimidex.
75 mg DHEA every morning
25 mg Progesterone every night
TT = 1144
FT = 211
E2 = 23
DHEA = 458
My results vary somewhat probably due to modifications in protocol. Libido is great - so is mood and cognition. I've been doing this for 2.5 years.
man how come so many people just use 1mg a week and get into the 20's on e2. it seems like the body just regulates to the right amount for most people.
ive tried 1mg a week, none, .3mg 2x a week, etc. never getting in the low 20s. either too high or too low. god its frustrating.
right now im taking .2mg 2x a week. this should, with 90% confidence place me between 10-30 e2, according to my math, so youd think i would at least have much improved libido from before, being too low or too high....
anyway i broke down tonight and ordered some dermacrine. i keep hearing great results from it from people on TRT as well as off.
i have on hand: arimidex, DIM, and soon dermacrine. i currently take 1 cap of dim daily, thinking this is such a small amount it can only help... smart or stupid?
congrats colkurtz on your success!
1 cap has only 12.5mg DIM and 250mg cruciferious blend.
should i take all three at once too? just low dose?

That's ridiculous. There is nothing proprietary about the medication someone is taking. I guess I could understand it if my business relied on the boards. But still, everyone is unique and needs a good doc to help them with their protocol. The board is helpful for anecdotal evidence to help tweak things, and bring ideas to your doc. If I got pulled from the board from posting something like that, I wouldn't want to be posting in any event.
lets be realistic.
there are thousands of doctors. thousands of health internet forums.
thousands of patients, WITH ANONYMOUS identities.
the odds of a doctor finding a patient posting information regarding their treatmen online are basically 0.
more importanly my response will bump this post!
