You may have noticed that there has been a lot of action lately at LG Sciences, that is because we have been busy out recruiting the best of the best. Without any further delay I will let these Warriors introduce themselves and there background.

I give you the new Warriors in the LG Army!

The short and long of my lifting career started in H.S.** I actually quit playing sports to just weight lift.* I always trained to be a ‘bodybuilder’, athlete second.* 5 years of straight lifting, I met, now a great friend of mine, a ‘power lifter’ and met an amateur strongman.* I changed up my principles shortly thereafter, concentrating on power lifting.* At 205, I tallied a 1320 total in a local power lifting meet.* I also worked in a smalltime gym for 3 years where chalk/chains were welcome!* I took a few years off and ballooned up as I changed career paths and started to civilize (got married, new house, etc).* I knew I didn’t want to live my life this way, eating everything in sight and not paying attention to any type of workout regimen.* My hunger for weights/discipline/hard work had come back 2 years ago and since the 1st*of February I’ve lost 50lbs, and now my hunger to compete on a bodybuilding stage is in my sights.* I am registered with the NPC at the moment and won’t stop until I reach that goal whether it be this year or early next.* I offer a pretty diverse spectrum of experience and encouragement and would love to represent a company that has helped me get there.

Let’s get this done!

My training goes back to when I was 13 and swimming competitively in middle school; though we really didn't have much direction, I got acclimated to weight training and took a liking to the challenge it brought.* My swimming career got serious in high school and I went on to place in the top 8 in IL in multiple events (sprint freestyle was specialty).* Along with swimming I played water polo for three years and then after being recruited to a division one school for swimming, I made the decision to enjoy my college years and played water polo instead.* I did that for the Ohio University club team for my four years at school and trained with weights off and on though it was never my focus.

All that changed after school when I got a dreaded office job that kept me relatively sedentary, throw in three years of overseas travel and I went from an in shape 180 after school ended to 235 with high blood pressure and bad cholesterol.* Something needed to be done and in late 2007 I joined a gym and there lies the beginning of my serious training.* For the first year I experimented with different training programs and diets, used very little supplementation and was not very successful.* After a year of spinning my wheels I started to do some research, found a few trusted forums to ask questions at, then really started to make some progress in the beginning of 2009.* My Eureka moment landed me over at Anabolicminds.com thanks to BoroBulker and then I really started to make great progress.* In the last 16 months or so I have gone from the casual lifter at 210/20% BF to 186 with BF in the low teens.**

With the help of MrKleen, Dreamweaver, IrishCannon and a handful of other members I became determined to constantly improve, learning the different ways to properly diet to reach my goals and also how to use supplementation to enhance the effectiveness of my training.* My interests lie in learning as much as I can about nutrition, supplementation, training programs and the fitness lifestyle.* Using this information to reach my goals and help others out are my main goals and being a part of the LG team will allow me to do all of that.

I may not have the answers to every question you ask about LG and its supplement lineup but I will surely do my best to get them for you.* I look forward to supporting all of the LG customers in the future on AM!

My name is Samuel Holmes.* I've been lifting for about 10 years; lifting primarily for aesthetics, though I do switch back & forth from strength lifting (higher intensity) back to more volume based bodybuilding.* I just started Olympic Lifting about 2-3 months ago, though I am still bodybuilding for the most part.* I graduated from California State University Fullerton with a B.S. in Kinesiology and passed the NSCA's Strength & Conditioning Specialist Certification in November 2009, where I now work part time as an S&C Coach/Personal Trainer at a private performance facility, PEAK PERFORMANCE, (and full time as a paralegal at a Civil Law firm).* I have college earned credits toward Gerokinesiology and did an internship at the internationally renowned, Center for Successful Aging, where I trained the elderly (65+) in functional strength, including developing functional strength and power (or velocity based) exercise programs* for the elderly, in order to increase core strength and improved neuron firing to working muscles.* I was a principles of strength & conditioning student under the president of the NSCA at the time, Dr. Lee Brown and an exercise physiology student under NSCA presidential candidate, Dr. Coburn. * As an S&C coach, I've been a private coach for football, softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer players and two MMA athletes, one amateur, one pro, who's professional career peaked at headlining at Las Vegas', MGM Grand.

So a bit about myself: My parents highly encouraged physical activity from an early age. I was running 8 miles several times a week with my father when I was 7-9 years old, riding bikes, weight lifting, and learning Shotokan karate as a teen. After high school, I went to Israel to visit, and decided to stay and volunteer for an airborne combat unit in the IDF. I gained citizenship, and served my 3 years as an airborne sniper, doing some pretty crazy stuff, like multiple 40 and 60 mile long runs with packs. Once I got out, I joined an Israeli gov't security school, which trains guys for border, El Al, and embassy security; this was 3 months, 12 hours a day solid of shooting and hand to hand, a total nightmare.*

After 6+ years in Israel, I returned to the US, where I took up serious mt biking, living with a bunch of competitive cyclists, including my then girlfriend. I had left the IDF a skinny 165 lbs, and got back into weight training, but mostly to aid the cycling. Eventually, I ended up moving to Los Angeles and becoming a bodyguard, mostly for celebrities. Part of my job is maintaining a high level of fitness; appearances are way more important than they should be, but even more important is my state of mind. I went on a 5 year bulk, did minimal cardio, and put on a solid, lean 25lbs.

The last 2 years I've finally gotten back to martial arts, training very hard in judo, and gaining a brown belt in a little under a year, and I recently switched to BJJ because of changes in my work schedule. I've competed twice in judo, coming in with a gold in my first, and getting completely obliterated in a team tournament (we were 3 relative lightweight novices against 3 huge black belts). I haven't competed in BJJ yet, but I absolutely hope to soon. I'll need to drop around 10lbs to compete at my optimal weight in BJJ, which is an odd concept to me, but will pay off.

Anyway, I've always been very much into health, fitness, and nutrition, and I've always been very interested in anything that enhances performance naturally. I've spent quite a lot of time researching the above, and I've used a pretty wide array of supplements on myself; I'm very in tune with my body, I've pushed myself beyond the limits, and know what works. LG has a fantastic lineup which has been receiving massively positive feedback, and I'm really happy to become a part of the family!

I use Dymatize Elite Gourmet Whey, NOW EGCG, and Controlled Labs Fish Oil daily, as staples. Currently I'm using Controlled Labs Green Bulge and White Flood. I tend to not get along with yohimbine, geranium, and some test boosters absolutely murder my hairline.*

Sam has had a huge sign over his head for years that reads "Prime Rep Material RIGHT HERE". How I became a rep before him, I'll never know. Glad to see he's now affiliated with a company I respect so much.

Fin, Flex, for some reason I still think of you guys as "knowledgeable newcomers" - i.e. as if you just joined AM. But you've both been on longer than a year - I'm just going crazy. Y'all know your stuff. You'll make Irish and Met proud!
