How strong is BAM's anti-cort effect, and how hard will it be on a thinning hair prone individual? for reference, JW was hard on my joints, i had to stop mid-cycle.

Should have no problem with hair loss.

It:

6) Inhibits excessive cortisol levels for an anti-catabolic effect

If you had trouble on JW you were most likely doing a low carb diet? This is where we see the joint pain come into play mostly. I used it for 8 weeks and had no joint issues at all, but was on a bulk with lots of carbs, which bring water into your body and thus gives cushion to joints.

I have read that when the body stores glycogen it does so with water and up to a four to one ratio (water being 4 and glycogen being 1). Is this what you are refering to? Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but I am trying to move beyond knowing what happens to knowing why and how it happens.

Carbs can hold up to 10 times their weight in water, when you eat a lot of carbs your muscles are very full and look good :) When you deplete, your body gets sore because it has a lack of water everywhere.

Not low carb at all. Retain was too much for me, too.

I believe that the general rule of thumb is that every gram of carb consumed utilizes around 3.5-4oz of water for glycogen synthesis and storage. So, with increased carbs you have more total body water, which lends itself to more cushion so to speak for the joints and tendons that are surrounded by some said muscles. So if you carb deplet, you loose H2O, you loose cushioning, you have joint pain (dry joints). I think that's one of the ways it's effected.

Maybe your a hyper-responder. Could get more mileage out of it if you where. Did you try to cut your dosages down from the normal and see if you still had pain?

Then just play around with the dosage if you decide to go with on of the new products. You could be a lucky one and save alot of cash while getting the same benefits.

Well then, just remember," Your Strong to the Finish, Because You Eats Your Spinach."

P.S. Toot, toot.
