He sure is, I had the pleasure of spending the weekend with him at the Olympia, and learning alot. He is alot of fun too :)

Definitely a Big and Smart dude. By "naturally" does that mean *no* suppliments, or just no anabolic steroids, GH, etc.?

ManBeast

edit: damnit, i wish that it would keep A.A.S. as that instead of making it "anabolic steroids" WTF guys?

I believe it means no A.A.S., We all need supplementation! lol

Very interesting! I've read some of his posts off this forum about his Game-Over diet. I really like his philosiphies and a lot of them really open up your mind to thinking beyond the bbing norm.

I think its a great time that a book of this nature comes out.

I mean, things like Jungle Warfare, the Venom products, or is it just totally focused around diet/basic supps (vitamins, protien, etc.)/training. Or does it incorporate the hardcore suppliments as well.

It is mostly focused on training and the different types of training, Eric Broser has a section on the P/RR/S training, There is a contest prep section as well. I have not got my copy yet but Im sure it covers supplementation, and what you can use to benefit naturally without A.A.S. Author has some of his own training techniques, the same ones that have made him what he is today. You know you can take all the supplements in the world but if your training and diet are not on spot you will not succeed. I can tell you more when I get my book!!! :D

Glad to see this available. I enjoyed reading BTPB, so I may need to get a copy of the natural version.

Anyone have a copy of te 1st building the perfect beast? I loaned mine to a friend and he moved and there went my book

Uh I don't want to be the one to take money out of the pocket of a man I consider a superstar of the bb'ing and fitness world, but if you look around you can find CME and BTPB in e-book format on several websites.

BTW, just to make it known I will be purchasing a copy of this book some time very soon.

I'm finding the book to be a very good read. It's a scientific approach to bodybuilding imo. However, I'm extremely frustrated as I've been working like crazy lately, then it's training time, then it's dinner and to bed. I haven't had time to read much of it at all yet. This weekend, I want to spend some quality time with my BTPBN :D

SYNOPSIS

Building the Perfect Beast....Naturally

Forward

"Building the Perfect Beast.Naturally" is a discussion of the "natural" athlete's approach to obtaining Freak-Status. Of course the term "natural" actually applies to all of the individuals who utilize any-and-all-means to acquire as much muscle mass as inhumanly possible with the only guiding stipulation being "NOT ILLEGAL OR DEADLY" in many cases. How can anyone claim that the use of certain over the counter, gray market supplements, and lifting tons of iron day-in-day-out is natural anyway? Let us be honest. This is already a questionably sane life-style without going into all of the micro-subculture, self-righteous, moralistic, self-centered justifications!

For those readers who have read "Chemical Muscle Enhancement" and "Building The Perfect Beast," thank you. I hope to keep your interest in our crazy sports alive with the present text.

Of course there will always be those who will feel that this book too should be about content similar to these prior tombs, but those have already been written. Why do so again? As hard as a few may try to convince you otherwise, the human body can be made to perform and progress at an amazing rate without the primary focus being anabolic steroids and without the possible associated legal issues. This is not to condemn others who are making informed choices, but it is the interest of Team ALRI to help athletes of all persuasions with the broadest range of hands-on knowledge.

In the present text we will discuss the first steps in hard-core mass gaining techniques of the natural beast in greater detail. I warn you the reader that the information that follows isn't always pretty, but it is always factual and based upon real life experience and the credo: "Research is mandatory. But only as a method to further explain what I repeatedly see to be an actual fact." It is easy to manipulate research data but very difficult to deny a factual event that is proven over and over again in multiple settings.

Building The Perfect Beast.Naturally will discuss: high intensity training protocols, paramount dietary ideals, and some applicable supplements many legal or otherwise chemically enhanced and natural athletes alike have used to maximize the muscle building process. I hope the reader is not of the nature that is more interested in the "trend of the month", but rather focused upon only what actually works and why.

This book is written in a conversational accumulative format. This of course means that we are talking "to the reader" and assume that you too hate to repeat yourself in too great of a detail simply because someone was not listening (reading) earlier. The truth is that it would be a waste of paper, happy trees, and your time if we did.

Good to hear, glad you are enjoying it. If you're like me, when it comes to some of the "scientific" jargan, you may have to read it a few times to grasp the concept :D
