Freezing mgf after reconstitution

Say I have a 100mg vial and so I reconstitute with 10cc Sterile water then I put 100mcg doses into numerous slins and stick them in a freezer then i just defrost before use, will i lose much of the compound over a period of a few months?

or should i just constitute with 100mmol AA and then freeze, then adding terile water after thawing?

normally freeze thaw will destroy proteins and peptides

i used to purify antibodies, and we never freeze thawed. apparently loss of 50% activity.

ab's are big proteins though,,,still peptides being frozen will shatter them (denature them).

dont do it.

ok. so then how can i prolong the shelf life once reconstituted? i can get mgf way cheaper if i buy in 100mg vials hence the reason for these Qs. so i have to reconstitute the whole 100mg and then keep it for as ong as possible.

Hmm. Thats a tuff one. I suppose with all the $$ you are saving you can buy some sterilized vials and a crimper and some tops and divide it into 20 vials or so. That would be 5mg per vial which if its regular of pegMGF, either way, I could use 5mg about 2 weeks or so.

Basically what Im saying is I dont think you can prolong the shelf life once reconstituted. Some people think mgf will 'stay' longer in AA but I have NEVER used AA w/any MGF so I wont attempt to verify that theory.
