GH, IGF-1 potential to CAUSE tendinosis?

Mr.50

Board Supporter
Guys I know much has been said about GH and IGF-1'a ability to heal tendon injuries but I am wondering if there is any possibility for either GH or IGF-1 to cause or exacerbate existing tendonosis? I ask because both times I have used GH or IGF-1 i have experienced achilles tendinosis in both achilles with intense pain and incorrect growth (bumps on the tendon) on both sides? Can this be an indicator of a dosage that is too high?

Mr.50

a lot of people report issues with high dosage of gh. For me igf is hell on my joints. What are or was your dosage??

I was on 3-4 ius per day 5 on 2 off. Do you think a lower (closer to physiologic dosage might be better)?

your body just needs to get use to it. lower the dose for a week or two and work you way back up. You will be a lean mean machine before to long my man.. its all good :)

Well I am not on right now but this was all about my experience last Spring/Summer and I want to plan ahead correctly this year for the April or May blitz. Thanks for the help bro.

This is an interesting topic. For me, IGF-1 feels good on the joint but after getting off it last time, I did get some tendon pain, almost exclusively near my injured shoulder, so I put it on the injury. Other guys are reporting similar things though. Only AFTER dropping the IGF though. Weird. More research needed, for sure.

is there any reduction in production of GH/IGF-1 after the cessation of use? Sort of like the supression after using AAS if no PCT is followed.

Yes, there is some degree of suppression from IGF.

And the amount of supression is unknown and how long it lasts correct? Does it have a rebound affect, causing IGF to bounce back to normal physiological range?

Grunt,

How do you know there is suppression? Blood work? If so what are they testing for?

Do you think there would be more suppression with ED dosing LR3-IGF-1 for say 25 days or more suppression at 3 times a week for extented periods.

Thanks

i experienced extreme tendon pain in my elbows and forearms that still exists 4 months later. used igf lr3 in pct.

The suppression of GH release from IGF-1 supplementation is short-lived though. I don't remember all the details but it lasts a few days.

does anyone else get increased acne with igf. I get it with any test boosting product. So igf must be increasing my test production...

you know a lot of people want to run igf all in one month.. Has anyone notice a big difference in running it all in one month compared to spreading it out over two??

well acoedring to imformation on igf 4 wks you get the best returns after that effects start to lessen.according to the sticky on lr3igf in the igf/insullin forum.

a low dose of gh (about 1.5 iu of GOOD stuff) helped my tendonitis alot. you need to be patient with is and give it time.
