Is there any relation to IGF and cancer? I have no basis for this question. I researched this and probably didn't look in the right place.Just wanted to know a little more before I try this. Also, could IGF potentially cause birth defects in future children. i have no basis for this question either. Just a couple of things I need to know. Thanks in advance for any info.

Basically, if you already have cancer, then IGF may accelerate the growth of the mutated cells/tumor. IGF is not a mutagen however.

As far as birth defects go..I don't think it's been studied specifically but then there hasn't been anything observed along those lines either.
