I have U-100 slin pins. If I have 1mg of powder, I put 2mls in the vial, so that means 10iu= 50mcgs right? Im really bad at math, so does that mean that 8iu's would be 40mcgs?

Yes.

Even easier, I add 1.5mls of BA for a total of 2.5mls to effectively measure 40mcg's at the 10 unit mark.
