IGF injection question

Today was my first injection of IGF and I could have a slight problem, can't say for sure. Anywho, I diluted the IGF with BAW in the syringe, but it appeared as if the two didn't mix well. I messed with the syringe a little, turning back and forth, to no avail. I injected regardless, held the needle in for 15 seconds, removed, and clear liquid/blood oozed out. As for the injection, I'll attempt to solve this using z-track, but as far as the other problem, any ideas? Does the IGF mix with BAW and I can't tell?
 
Don't worry about whether it mixed, you can't do anything else but draw the IGF then BAW. As far as the blood goes, you must have somehow hit a shallow vein, maybe you lost some. Insulin syringe I take it?
You should feel this stuff within 45 mins. Some low blood sugar maybe, extreme hunger, maybe some fatigue. I do everytime I take it.
 
yeah, it's a 3/10 slin pin. figured the most accurate is the way to go. might try the bicep tommorrow since it has thinner skin.
 
the best way to mix is to draw the IGF first(so you dont ruin it), then draw up some BW leaving at least 10 IU free. draw back the 10+ IU and shake the **** out of it. i found if there is no air - it doesnot mix. my pins held 100IU - i put 15IU IGF, 50IU BW amd 20 IU air - shake - you are good.
 
When I watch the air bubbles rush in the syringe while I'm pulling in the BAW there's no doubt it's mixing as I draw.
My biggest concern is losing some due to back pressure and letting it get into the BAW vial. The pressure thing is tough sometimes, I've lot a days worth becuase when I pulled out of the IGF vial the syringe plunger lurched forward and spit most of it out. Now I'm careful about that.
 
haven't had that problem. did injection #2 today, took a while for it to mix well, no leakage, no issues.
 
I find that the faster I draw the BW, the better it mixes up with the IGF. If I draw slowly, it completely separates like salad dressing. Still draw the IGF slow, but try filling the syringe with BW real fast, it'll mix for you.
 
Beelze, or anyone else, I am the only one that feels the drain after taking it? I've never taken slin, but it must be somewhat similar.

my method not work? i found it would turn a milky color after shaking the **** out of it with air in the tube....
 
yeah, it worked somewhat with a few modifications. shaking didn't really do too much but my knowledgeable nurse wife did some plucking and it worked out. thanks for the suggestion.
 
vigorously shaking long proteins like these can result is denaturing the material....
at what threshold I can't say.... if its milky... afterward, there is a good likelihood of denaturing..

mine didn't turn this color, but i'm curious as to how fast this takes place. i mean, if i shake the piss out of it, turns milky, and you inject it right then, how much is actually ruined? i wouldn't think much.
