What about the displacement factor of adding your acetic acid? Nobody is considering the fact that when you add 1ml to your 1mg of IGF that the powder is taking up space inside of the solution? So adding 1 ml will actually result in you having prolly 1.3ml inside your vial. Without considering this your dosages will be WAY OFF. I'm not saying im right here because i know nothing about IGF but i have been making my own gear for a long time and you ALWAYS factor in the density of the powder. Any ideas
 
the compressed solid volume of the IGF Is so small as to be negligible. you're right but in practice its such a small difference that it doesn't matter.
 
I think you're looking at the volume of the lyophilized powder and not after it's been dissolved, in which case any additional volume would be insignificant.
