Hi guys.

I did a search but could not find the info I was looking for.

Just a quick question - is Epistane effective in battling prolactin/progestin induced gyno?

Thanks for any info.

Depends on which side of the argument you are on. A lot of people insist that you can still get progestin related gyno on a SERM and a lot of other people say you can't. Epistane is a SERM by nature so it is going to block the estrogen receptors in breast tissue.

You plan on taking it with tren or something?

I have not seen any research claiming estrogen elevation is related to prolactin elevation but I have seen threads of anabolic users claiming there is a correlation.

The epistane is an anti-estrogen and might effect prolactin levels if the above statement is true. In my opinion, I would not count on Epi causing a prolactin decrease directly.

Thanks for your replies, LakeMOuntD and LuvMuhRoids.

Yes, that is correct - I'm planning on using Epistane with Tren.
I think I'll get more B6 and Vitex, to be on the safe side.

Thanks again.

Good idea. We do offer an anti-prolactin product on our chem site if you know the URL. Im not going to put it out here on the open board.

I personally do not believe AI's will help with prolactin. Used stuff that causes high prolactin in the past with a high dose of nolva to help out, didn't do a thing. Also I have not had a problem with this in the past when I have used nolva during times with only high estrogen.

As far as cabergoline goes, which is what I think you are suggesting luv, I would read around on the forums and read some of the articles about heart valve defects from it. There is debate whether the dosage is what caused it to happen or if it is something that happens either way. The point was with the dose used 1/4 of users had heart valve defects that can only be fixed by surgery.

Im well aware of the studies snakebyte and I still advice the usage for prolactin inhibition. That study is pertaining to parks sufferers that have to rersort to high dosage and long term administration.

Show me a study that claims twice a week administration for prolactin decrease causes valve enlargement or defects and i will insist in a different opinion.

Don't have one so I am not going to try and argue it. I just said it was something to think about some. Some think worry it may still cause effects to the heart valve even at twice a week some don't.

Heart valve stuff aside, I have used IBE cabergoline and when I did use it it worked great for lowering prolactin along with some other pleasant surprises... It all comes down to speculation at this point.

I agree completely i wouldn't be without my cabergoline .5mg twice a week while using any progestin.
