im thinking of running a ketogenic diet instead of bulking since i need to cut down anyways. around 18% right now. anyone think this would be a good combo??
im already on the keto CKD one, and im gaining strength while loosing some fat...no much but a little.
since this is my first PH do you guys think i may actually put on a small amount of mass while cutting?
the main reason i ask is because i was curious what would be the most beneficial of the product itself...cutting or bulking. but i felt i needed to cut this time so i chose to do it. i just didnt really want to waste the cycle if you know what i mean
You don't need to cut cals very much with Epi. In fact it is very sensitive to calorie restrictions and additions. You can cut with it pretty well, it does a good job of preventing muscle loss and helping to cut some of the fat. I never liked to use it for that but I did notice those effects when I didn't have my cals high enough with it. Bumped it up a little and was back on track bulking.
thats the approx macro ratio i used through my cycle and managed to put on 13 lbs lbm and no fat at all.
your most important thing though is even if your splitting your macros into appropriate ratios make sure your getting all of them from high quality sources, esp good fats and carbs and that they are taken at the appropriate time of day. ie not too many carbs or fat in the evening and an extended protein @ night instead of instatized isolate.
Epi should do great for adding mass even during a cut.
When I did my first run of Epi my macros were all over the board as I mainly focused on protein and I lost 1 inch on my waist,became more vascular all around and gained OVER 10 lbs. Its great stuff and it makes you feel very upbeat and motiveted!good luck!
well one problem still remains that i must figure out, how to keep fat gain from happening since ive been on this Low carb keto diet...once i switch to a 40,40,20 ratio, i may gain alot of fat. anyone have a suggestion before i start this next week?
