Ecto-6 Log

Before I start, just wanted to thank IBE for the chance to try out the Ecto-6!

This will be a fairly simple log at the beginning for two reasons: the first is that I'll be out of town until Monday, and the second is that I HATE logs where the tester says something like, "Day one - no effect yet. Day two - still not feeling anything." So, my first update will be next Tuesday, unless I bump into a computer before that.

Dosing - I started yesterday following the 5 day on - 2 day off guidelines. I wake up at 5am to take the Ecto-6, squirt it into the back of my throat, and go back to bed until about 6:15.

Stats - I am 37y/o, 192lbs, 16-17% bf. I follow a diet consisting of 40%pro/30%carb/30%fat taking in about 2400 calories while cutting. I am dropping that to 2000-2200 while on the Ecto-6 to hopefully speed the fat loss. I lift on a 4-day split, and do cardio 4x45mins in the am, slow and fasted.

Other Supps - Pretty simple list:
DHEA 50mg
Flax/fish oil - 14g/day
Multivitamin
ECA - pre-cardio only
Melatonin - 3g/night
ZMA - night

Alright, here go some purely anecdotal notes. The Ecto-6 actually tastes much better than I anticipated. It squirts like a paste, and has an almost nutty flavor. Also, someone mentioned a feeling of well being with Ecto-6. It could have just been the alignment of the stars, but I was noticably less stressed yesterday than any day the previous two weeks, although the Ecto-6 was the only change. I will monitor this closely and report on it again.

That's all I can think of, if anyone has questions fire away. I'll reply as soon as I can.

Update

I have returned from my little trip and have an update on the Ecto-6 to share.

First, it definitely had an impact on my mood and sense of well being. I had a very stressful week, and managed to just shrug it off pretty easily.
Second, the Ecto-6 did decrease appetite, to the point where I had to remind myself to eat a few times during the week.
Third, I noticed some tightness in my arms while lifting, particularly in the biceps and triceps. I woke up in the night twice after leg day with cramps in my upper right thigh. I have never cramped there before like this, usually I cramp on the hammy's. I don't know if this is connected to the Ecto-6 or not, but thought I would mention it.
Lastly, I broke out in pimples around day 4 on my chest and shoulders. This was temporary and all the pimples have already disappeared. As a 37 year old guy, I don't break out - ever. So, I can only attribute this to the Ecto-6.

I had an awful weekend dietwise, (great otherwise), I drank too much which led to eating too much. However, I will be at home for the next three weeks, so I can run the rest of my cycle with more frequent updates. I have been following the dosing schedule of five on, two off and have not missed any doses.

Any questions, fire away.

No questions, eh. Oh well, here goes:

Definite appetite suppression today. At breakfast I had 1/2 cup oatmeal with two scoops whey and 1/4 cup almonds - at 7:00am. Wasn't hungry again until all day, realized I should have a pre-wo meal, a whole wheat tortilla with turkey and fat free cheese - with a big glass of milk. I had to choke it down, wasn't hungry at all. Had a shake with 2 scoops whey and another 1/2 oats pwo. Now I am planning my meal - but I don't want anything. Might choke down a chicken breast with some brocoli.

Now, it is hot as hell here, so that might play in. Other than that, workout was good, surprising considering I haven't eaten much all day. No more cramping at all, we'll see tonight. Tomorrow morning I'll weigh in and see if there was any loss. That's it.

How hot is it where you're at, joe? It's been like 108-112 where I am. The appetite suppressing deal was a surprise for me. I can't even finish anything I start to eat, and can only eat twice a day right now. I dropped three pounds in the first week. Even while eating like crap, just not as much.

I'm in Philly, it's been around 95 consistently for the past few days, with killer humidity. Not as hot as you have it, but hotter than I'm used to here. But, I've been sitting in the air conditioning for like two hours now, and I still barely choked down two small chicken breasts for dinner. I'm at just under 1600 cals today, and I don't even want to think of a night time snack. I'll probably force 1/2 cup of cottage cheese before bed. I wasn't expecting this level of appetite suppression. I can't think of anything else I've taken that has hit my appetite this hard, I almost always can eat damn near anything!

Alright, no cardio today, but I did just take 90 minutes to cut my grass in the 90 degree heat, so that counts! Weight this morning at 190.0, which is very good considering the weekend I had. Still no real appetite, and I noticed something last night. I woke up sweating, even though it was only like 69 degrees in my room. My wife was under a blanket, and I was just dying under nothing. I was trying to recall if this happened before, but can't remember any specifics. I would take my body temp now, but I know it's way off from the heat. I will wait until tonight before bed, and get it again when I wake up. I'll post it up tomorrow.

I also received some fat calipers and a Myotape. I will mess with them over the weekend and post it up if I can figure it all out. I glanced at the directions, it shouldn't be too hard. I feel like I'm getting tighter, and look more vascular than a few weeks back. It will be interesting to see what the stats say.

I was a real slug all weekend, didn't get to do anything I had planned. At least i stayed on point with my diet. Just some updates:

I noticed a return of my hunger on Sunday, big time. I'm thinking of changing the dosing to 4 on - 1 off. That would end my cycle on the same day. I just want to see if the appetite suppression and other effects carry through when cycled this way. I can say my entire body has felt extremely tight/pumped all weekend, like I was always flexing. I did back on Friday, and I knew it all weekend, even today I could still feel it.

Appetite was killed once again today. I have a rough couple of days coming up, many interviews for a job. I'm trying to get into teaching, and all the school districts wait until the last week of July to interview. Go figure. If anything new pops up, I'll post it. So far, the Ecto-6 has seemed to be doing its job nicely.

Good luck on the job interview. It'll work out just as it should so no worries
Thanks for the kind words TCO, I actually had my last interview today and was offered a job on the spot. So, it looks like I'll be teaching 6th grade in the fall.

To get back to the Ecto-6, today is my day off. Did legs yesterday, in the heat, and actually noticed my strength has increased anywhere from 5 to 20 lbs since I started the Ecto-6. On Monday, it was chest and biceps, and I managed 3 sets of 10 with 60lbs on the db incline press, a new high. I previously was maxing out at 55 for only 6 reps. So, even though I'm cutting calories, I am getting stronger. I weigh in tomorrow, so we will see how the weight loss is going. I think I will wait to do full measurements until the cycle is done, which is next Friday.

Other than that, nothing new to note. Appetite seems a little stronger than last week, but not really good. I could still go all day without eating if I didn't think about it. I've been pounding the water back, definitely over a gallon a day, probably way more. I always seem thirsty. My supp schedule is the same, but I cut back on the EC. Don't seem to need it for energy. I have been getting great sleep, although I normally sleep alright.

Any questions, let 'em fly.

Couple things to note.

Your results (as well as others) basically are proving IBE's oral delivery technology here. The results you describe are indicative of GHRP administration. Which results specifically are positive nitrogen retention in a catabolic state as well as increase in muscle mass and decrease in appetite.

I've researched these GHRPs alot previously; they are quite the compound. They work synergistically with GHRH (growth hormone releasing hormone) in the body, yet work independantly of the GHRH receptor.

They do not cause shutdown of endogenous GH, just an amplification. And coming off of GHRPs simply returns GH to baseline, without any real negative feedback. I actually saw a study awhile back that showed GHRPs eliciting endogenous GH production in the presence of exogenous GH, proving that GHRPs worked independantly of GH's negative feedback mechanism.

These compounds are really quite extraordinary. GH increase (the levels you can get from GHRPs) is enough to increase muscle mass, offset extreme catabolism (GHRPs were studied in excess in muscle wasting patients) and in the case of ecto, can decrease appetite as well.

Look on pubmed if you are curious. Just put in GHRP-6, hexarelin or GHRP-2. The version in ecto is alittle less researched, but the others have been extensively researched in humans for many many years.

If the cost came down slightly, I bet you many many more people would be using this...there really is no negative to GHRP administration that I have found. I plan on using it eventually in a couple years, if its still around.

Thanks for the info Enigma, good stuff!

Weighed in this morning at 186. Puts me down 6 pounds in almost three weeks. Still, I feel much stronger and again had an awesome day lifting. Went up in weight in almost all lifts, did shoulders/triceps today. So, it looks like what Enigma was saying about gaining muscle in a catabolic state may be true. Tomorrow is back day, I'm going to try to keep going heavy and update then.

Just to note, it is not as hot here today, only 82ish and no humidity. I still have zero appetite. Tomorrow I am not taking the Ecto-6, as I am trying the 4 on - 1 off dosing for the last two weeks. I am thinking it may give greater results, although I don't know if I will see any difference in only two weeks. I'm hoping to at least get the appetite suppression stronger over the weekend, when temptations are greatest!

One last note, yesterday I thought i was getting a cold sore on my left lower lip. I had a bump there that was not yet developed. I put some Abreva on it and it was gone this morning. I don't know if cold sores are a sign of anything, but thought I would mention it anyway. Probably nothing, but maybe someone with more knowledge of the Ecto-6 could comment.

Just a quick recap before I go on vacation. Yesterday was my last dose of Ecto. Today I still had the appetite suppression going on, although my appetite has increased somewhat. My final weight is 185.0. That puts me down 7 pounds. However, I increased poundages on all my lifts, and added muscle in almost every area of my body, except it seems in the calves. Gained 2" in the chest from 41 to 43 from May 15 until today. Also put a three quarters of an inch on each arm, while keeping my waist the slightly smaller at 36". (Still too large though!) In retrospect, I wish I had taken measurements right before starting the Ecto, but I guess I wasn't really expecting the results I got.
I tried to get body fat, but I came up with three different readings. I estimate I am around 15% now, as opposed to closer to 17% when I started the Ecto.
The effects of the Ecto were all named previously in the thread so I won't review, however, I commented in Cuff's thread that I also noticed faster growth in my hair and fingernails. A few posters commented this is a side of GH use also, which I thought was interesting. I expected any effects from GH to take longer than the four weeks I ran Ecto.
Other than that, the only comment I can make is to recommend this product. When I get back into cutting in March/April, I will probably get a three month supply and run with it. Any time I can consume only 1800-2200 calories a day and still increase my lifts, I'll do it. This past spring I used Trimax to cut, lost 17 pounds in 4 weeks, but my strength went way down. I would rather lose 7 pounds a month and increase strength, which is what happened with this product.

Alright, that's about it. Any questions, I'll answer in a week!
