Serious water retention problem...HELP!!!

So back in January I was in ridiculously good shape, with real low body fat and no water retention at all. For certain reasons I stopped working out for about 3 1/2 months and during that time lost some muscle and also gained a bit of fat, and ended up at the same weight I was at in January, although looking like absolute complete garbage. I just started seriously hitting the gym again a month ago and started a cycle of DTH at the same time, and even though I figured I'd have muscle memory on my side, progress has been slow.

My body and my face looks and feels soft and I suspect it has more to do with water weight than fat. My face all along underneath and above my jaw and my cheeks feels puffy and soft and I just look like complete ****, whereas 5 months ago my face was lean and tighter. I've ruled out all food intolerances because my diet is perfect and I'm eating the same foods I was back when I was ripped, I drink 2 gallons of water a day, and I never eat more than 800-900 mg of sodium a day. I just don't know what the problem is, maybe estrogen or cortisol? Is DTH raising my estrogen levels and making me look like **** and feel soft? I don't know what to do to get rid of this round face and soft body, cause even though I'm hitting the weights and cardio hard and eating perfectly I continue to look like garbage.

did you start a creatine product at the same time, or more carbs? What I would do is take less DTH or some time off and see what happens. Ive had people lean out in the face and abs on DTH, so its hard to say it is or isnt the problem because DTH wasnt the onlything you changed when u started DTH. It could be DTH, tho' so take less. How much DTH are u on?
