How does salvia help the kidneys

Im all about kidney health, does anybody with genomyx know the mechanism of action for salvia's renal protective effects. I've googled my ass off, but find very little, but am able to find and read it is renal protection and does promote renal health.

It's really through Salvia's anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-viral, and anti-oxidant properties. Historically speaking, it was traditionally used to treat chronic renal failure.
