If anything you would want really high glycemic during your work out (gatoraid or any sports drink) to fuel your body. There are many different approaches.
Are you trying to bulk? Cut? What sort of diet do you use?

By all means If the high glycemic carb post work out is what works for you that's fine. To be honest there is no right way. Just don't think you must spike insulin post work out. I stay much leaner when I don't personally.
Well, I like to take advice from people who are more experienced/knowledgeable than me. I don't really have the time to conduct an experiment to see if my body responds better to high glycemic carbs. Since I'm on a cut, it does make more sense to avoid an insulin spike. So, I think I'll just take your word for it. There's enough logic that I don't feel the need for empirical evidence.
