I have the DHEA covered. I'm going to be grabbing some of the last of the Piracetam from XXXXXXXXXXXX and combine it with the last of my ClearEdge to try to wipe out the residual concussion cobwebs.

  4. Absolute shame, couldn't have happened to a better guy. I echo everyone else's sentiments in hoping he gets the book thrown at him.

Your bruising/cuts have healed extremely fast, hopefully the nose procedure goes well.

nasal reset went well, but the breathing tube really messed up my throat.

Doc basically told me my nose right now is spring loaded into place...one wrong move and it will snap right out again...painfully.

I'll know in a few more hours if my eyes will rebruise. If not, I will go ahead and post up todays pics and continue on tomorrow.

  6. WOW matt you are recovering very fast! Amazing

  7. Some swelling back, but so far no discoloration back on the eyes. This would be day 13 of recovery, after a rebreak/reset.

Still way fuzzy, honestly, though helping my daughter with her math homework is helping.

I'm supposed to knock it off for at least until Tuesday (follow-up) but just got called to an international meeting at the Olympia. I need to snap back right quick.

With my left shoulder still not at 100% (therefore bench suffering) I ordered some of the new Epharm Joint Force. Going to be running a rapid recomp/therapy log using SlinSane, Protocol, JointForce, TestForce and Triazole.

  15. Hope things are well man!!

    RECOVERBRO

  16. My left eye reblackened from the procedure, and my nose ended up still pretty crooked - but then again I haven't been pretty in years. Breathing is much better and I finally got the clearance to hit back at the gym last night!

Wow did I lose some major progress over the last 3 weeks.

  19. Going to post this up, hopefully as a jumpoff point to a detailed training log. I was hoping the new Protocol and Heat Stack would be ready by now, but we still have a few weeks to go.

Anyway, I'm down probably 12-15 pounds of lean muscle and picked up around 6 pounds of fat over my convalescence. Sitting at 216. This was my first chest workout since getting doctor clearance. I also packed in a very decent rehab shoulder workout with a trainer on Tuesday evening.

  20. Recovery is looking good Matt. Cant wait to follow along the training log.

Isn't it both amazing and totally suckass how easy it is to lose that much lean mass and gain that much padding in just 2 weeks?

I'm sure Christine with agree with me when I say that ain't a half bad looking mug Glad to hear & see things have been healing up. I lost 6 full weeks of training this summer b/c of my work in Uganda, so I know what it's like. You'll bounce back, use this as some extra motivation.

  23. Amazing!!!! just like if nothing ever happened

  24. Man, I just saw stumbled on this today. I don't really know what to say! I'm glad to see you've been healing VERY well! I'm really sorry you had to experience an encounter with the absolute WORST humanity has to offer. All I can say is to feel good knowing this guy is going to cry himself to sleep for YEARS, every night wondering how he, as such a "badass", is getting RAPED every day, and realizing there is no end for a VERY LONG TIME! His EGO DEATH would be more than enough consolation for me, and I hope it helps for you. You've helped me many times in the past, and we'd all welcome the opportunity to help you now! All the best!

Thanks, Brian..I appreciate the support. I'm having some residial nerve damage that is really unpredictable, especially as the weather starts to get cooler.

Here's today's picture - a little over 3 weeks from injury. Healing is extremely impressive, considering all of the cuts were to the bone. You can also laugh at my left eyebrow where I managed to remove half of my brow along with the stitches. That was an experience, I'll tell you that much.

  26. Wow very impressive recovery Matt.

  27. Ya, no kidding! I almost can't even tell anything happened! I wish I healed as quick as you! I know quite a bit about nerve damage though. I've got nerve damage in both of my hips, and like you said, it seems like cold, humidity, and night time really make my nerves hurt like hell, regardless of activity level that day. Hopefully yours are just pinched or something, and they'll work themselves out.

  28. looking alot better Dsade.

    glad to see it.

  29. Thanks to everyone that came up to me at the Olympia to both stare/verify up close the healing and wish me well, haha.
