Japan, a country not known for its overweight people, has undertaken one of the most ambitious campaigns ever by a nation to slim down its citizenry.

I think it would work in america, BUT they would have to give wavers for those who medically cant help it because of disease and such. I have an aunt who got huge because of steroids she has had to take for some medical conidtion.

You know, I just dont get some people. People here are advocates of steroids, and supplements. Angry at the government for stepping in and telling us what we can and cannot put into our bodies, now you want them to regulate our food and weight? Just a little on the ironic side.

I noticed that, too. Just another way for the government to take more of our personal rights as human beings away from us. It's ridiculous.

There is no such thing as democracy anymore, that's for sure.

I've seen a few somewhat beefy Japanese people here in the US, but anything I see about Japan on the news or online shows Japanese people who either have a very good metabolism and eat fine white rice, or are starved. I don't understand where the idea for this law came from.

Japan is more like a dictatorship anyhow lol.
