Well, i know a few other sites try/do this. I was thinking very basically,
-2 or 3 weight classes, 185-under, 185-202, 202+, or just 202 under/over.
-Set a date maybe 3-4 months in advance.
-Obviously honor system for wieght will be in play. A news paper would be required for the day of pics for verification.
-Maybe get a few companies to give prizes for top 2 in each class and maybe an over all?

I know its would be tough to take good pictures and look cut but thats all on you, so no complaining about lighting.

I think this would be cool cause theres alot of people on here and alotof people just do it to do it, why not compete a little?

Not sure if AM ever tried this but, toss in some ideas and input, maybe even if we dont get higher powers to lend a hand or companies to support us, just throw a thread out for it?

thats what im saying it can happen as long as everyone who wants to do it is going to do it like a real show and we have prizes and support for something like this. I believe we can do it over here.

Ok, well give me a few days ill see if i can get any "sponsors" even though they already are for AM. Ill see if anyones down for prizes. Ill have to contact mods also to see any limitations.
Ill have to put some "rules" and regulations together...

EDIT- Dont let my sig fool you, i am little. 185 at about 10-11% BF maybe. Never competed. This wont happen right away, maybe months but you gotta have time to dial in and get ready.

ahhhh havent seen you around for awhile big N. Well, im just awaiting PM answer from Mod on the ok to do this and talk to companies. If they dont answer by next week ill guess they are indifferent if i set it up.

for sure. Thats kind of why i think itd be cool. This way you dont have to stress over getting to a show, timing so much, etc. Its just a chilled community, hopefully i can get some "sponsors" for the event.

Sponsors? That was the weak link the last time, have you got some sort of layout as to how you think this whole thing should roll? I'm interested, seriously, but also sceptical that it will be as good as it could be instead of turning into a waiting game that ends with everyone losing interest.

well yes i have a write-up done in Microsoft Word. Im awaiting the Mods reply just to see if there is any issues or questions they have. If they dont answer by next week, ill prolly start to contact reps and make a thread or 2 on it. I want it to run smooth. I wanted the mods involved so the threads could get locked and want to keep the useless chit chat to a minumum. Im still figuring out a few things but its not to hard.
Judging is the only thing im working on right now.

Im down, we could have open judging. Somehow each member gets 1 vote for each weight class, obviously no voting for your self.

Maybe restrict voting to members with over 100 posts. So people dont just create accounts to vote.

We could do best abs/bi's/legs etc.
