Im sorry to here that bro. I used to ride an 07 Yamaha R1 and recently gave it up due to all the problems. Ironicaly my buddy bought it and wrecked it.
But in my time of riding ive had a friend die, 2 people die right in front of me, a buddy lose his leg and numerous close calls.

Friggen cagers. When I ride to work I can guarantee that I will have a min. of 1-2 idiots try to change lanes into me, people need to open their eyes. And for the love of god turn on the damn signal, I hate stupid people.
Sorry about your friend though. The crappy thing is usually the car driver gets off all easy just cause everyone assumes someone who rides is some little punk going 120 in a 30 popping wheelies. It's pretty f'ed up, sorry for your loss.

i used to ride a few years ago... but south florida = heaven's waiting room.. you got a 90 year old with no reflexes taking up 3 lanes with her caddy... its madness. i sold the bike.. best thing i ever did

sorry to hear man.. i front flipped my last bike at 70mph.. wasnt wearing a helmet, was very lucky to walk away from it. They just had to sew my skin back up around my jaw as it was hanging out from the skin. I still miss riding though, but my crazy days are over.. having kids will do that to ya. May your friend find peace, prayers are with you and his family.
