well its nice they had good intentions with their request but how come now there are two hour blocks of time where NO ONE is using the gym since they dont even take advantage of their own desired "entitlement" cause of their religion.

I really dont think that they couldnt do anything more at the gym that they cant accomplish in the pivacy of their own home/dorm/apartment and not impede on others ability to use Gym specific equipment... dont think under those shalls are the bodies of ladies that are hittin some hard iron. Its really a rediculous request IMO given no one esle is shown the same entitlement to choosing the folks and conditions in which they get to use those facilities with.

I hope you gain from it that i feel that both religions are equally good and bad as each other.

I have no sides on any religion. I hate the extremists from both sides, and have the upmost respect for those who accept anothers reglion.

I do not side with any religion. I follow no religion. I belive there is a god, but i do not belive he/she/it intended for us to argue over who is right and wrong.

anyway we moved about every 6 months as his job required constand relocation. Not fun packaing up a house every 6 months just as you make friends, you have to leave.

anyway i saw a lot and that experience is extremely valuable to me.

Whether you are Muslim, Christian, agnostic, Scientologistic, etc... NOBODY should get 'special' gym time that denies others from using those facilities.

This can (and somewhat is in this thread) spiral into a whole 'this vs. that' argument. Remember, we aren't speaking on 'tolerance' on a holistic view... just this special gym-time issue (which really seams ridiculous the more I think about it).

Will I laugh at Muslims when they throw down their towels and pray to the East? Nope. Will I laugh at Muslims when they stroll around wearing veils? Nope. These are thing that have zero effect on the rest of the population. But, when they start displacing the majority... that's a problem.
