This board is pissing me off already

Hey what's with this constantly loggin you out every few seconds?

I go take a leak and I have to log back on again.

I read my PM and I have to log back on again.

C'mon. Will someone do something about this insanity? LOL My patience and nerve have all shot to hell already. lol

Is there some setting or option that I over looked?

I am getting freaking sick of typing my nic and PWD already.

Has to be something to do with your cookies bro.....maybe try reseting them.....or make sure they're turned on under your "user CP" Theres a button that says "browse board using cookies" or something like that, turn them on.....

Yeah K, check you browser security settings, I've found some interesting things in regards to IE 6's new cookie management. If you are using IE6, just go to the Privacy tab (in Internet Tools) and put BDC in the list of sites to always allow cookies. I keep my setting high and just list sites to allow or block myself.

If Netscape, there is a similar setting, to state the obvious.

Fisher Price? If only I would that lucky!

My brother inlaw built this "I won't furtilize the farm with it" state of the art museum collectible.

    Thanks Jweave.

This is the answer that is sought in this thread...

I had no idea about site cookies versus session cookies but quickly learned after starting this forum. You need to allow the browser to store a cookie (site) for the domain that contains information like username and password. The temporary session cookie holds things like last thread replied to, last time on board, etc. If one is having trouble with logging out then it is in the browser setting.

This use to happen to me I fixed by going into edit options and clicking yes to this option.

Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)

With newer versions of IE you have to go to the privacy section of the Internet Options and adjust that section.
