I'm still looking for a song. DLG VS. G N R, Welcome to the Jungle. I hear it on BPM on XM all the time, but still can't find it on Limewire or anywhere else.

Does anybody have a link so I can get it on my ipod?!?!???

Hey bro,

Go to www.beatport.com

Search 'Tracks' for 'Welcome to the Jungle'

They dont have the DLG vs GNR mix, but there are 4 others on there. I gather that's a promo mix and hasnt been officially published, although I saw on a youtube comment this DJ claims to have a copy:

http://www.myspace.com/djhazard10

Might want to try PM'ing him.

Thats quite a list you got there! Are some of these guys new, cause when I was semi-into techno it was all Sasha/Digweed lunatics at every d@mn rave I attended. Needless to say, I got burned out...

So DJ-Dean must be worth a shot since you listed it twice - which songs should I check out by Dean?

DJ Dean - Protect Your Ears
This song is pretty good.

If you like that, then you'll like the Pulsedriver vs. Rocco remix ALOT.

That DJ Dean song was sic!
I like Euro/House/Trance more so than Hardcore/Bass/Hard Style.
Tiesto & Paul van Dyk are pretty awesome, i know they are mainstream, whatever.

i listen too...
http://www.vonyc.com/radio/

But that other site just made my favorites too!

In the area of euro/house/trance I van dyk and tiesto aren't really mainstream, they are basically just popular dudes. Though you could say that euro/house/trance is mainstream more nowadays.

The house x baby appeals to me. Rainbow is not bad either.

What year is this stuff from? I got mostly old stuff.

Looks like this will be the electronic music appreciation thread or should we start another? I will find some old worthwhile songs!

Ignore the anime stuff and just listen at least through 1 minute and it gets pretty sicknasty.

I'm glad you like this stuff, I can guarantee you'd like Darude and DJ Mystik. I don't wanna overwhelm you but here's one from DJ Mystik that I really like:

Not sure if they'd be classified as techno, but The Chemical Brothers were what I lived by for a awhile there... heres a few oldies:

Chem Bros - Bass Test
[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llkW5uIvdDY"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia]

Chem Bros - In Dust We Trust
[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4DcBiQ8Hvw"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia]

Chem Bros - Galvanize
[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APqm36XTqKE&feature=related"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia]

Theres others I like, and I guess not all of it would be considered techno, but these guys know how to put together some pretty sick beats.
___________________________________________________________________________________

OH! One more group thats way-out-there is Mindless Self Indulgence. They're pretty fvcked up but some of their beats kick a$$. Not sure if you guys will like 'em but here's a couple:

MSI - Bomb This Track
[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dY05Q8XnjoU&feature=related"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia]

MSI - Shut Me Up (Hilarious Music Video)
[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIYhbRiuVK0&feature=related"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia]

MSI - Stupid MF (This ones a bit rough)
[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-tdWBsum2c&feature=related"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia]

They're definitely a different group, but some of their stuff kicks a$$, especially at a party or rave.

Boom Boom Satellites - Easy Action

I havnt saw Dj Teisto one of the best.
Dj Tiesto has a few CDs called In Search of Sunrise. Then a city follows, i think there is 5. I have all 5 but not sure of the cities. One is Los Angeles, San Fran, Latin America, unsure of the other 2. Most are 2 Disc. I just DL them but bought Latin America.

Paul van Dyk just released "In Between" a bit ago.

If you want i can try to post up some DJ Markski for you guys or email you it or whatever...he is hardbeats/house/bass. Its ok sometimes.

Yeah man, I seriously think I dedicated a year of listening to Galvanize at least once a day. When I used to run alot, I'd just put my ipod on Galvanize, hit repeat, and take off!

dude chemical brothers was what was in my cd player whenever i was "listening to techno(or whatever)" with my freinds the beats and music and lyrics were just nuts, i still like them even without "enhancing" their music and i cant listen to the rest of that stuff regularly.....

LOL, the first time my mom heard me listening to this, she was like, "You need to go back to church... seriously!" :lol:

I also found this. Its not the whole song, but I find the first half is really quite boring up to this point:

Apex Twin - Windowlicker
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWQYxCiabcs&feature=related"]YouTube - Window Licker (v3D)[/ame]

And this has got to be one of the most simple yet addicting techno songs ever created:
