Next spring my fire dept will be getting a brand new station built and my Chief has put me in charge of setting up a workout room among a vast amount of other things. I don't have a huge amount of space but enough to set up a nice area.
Here's what my initial thoughts are:
Cage
Lat Pulldown/Seated row station
T-Bar
Squat Rack
Dead Lift area
Leg Press
Hyperextension (firefighters are known for bad backs)
Bench Press (Incline & Flat)
pull up/dip/roman chair situp contraptions
and a setup of dumbells and attatchments
and then some cardio machines (treadmill, elliptical, bike)
My Question:
If someone was going to give you $5000.00 to spend on equipment, do you have any particular brand you'd go with?
Any suggestions on changing the above list is appreciated. Obviously I have plenty of time but I want to get a good head start.
Thanks
