I thought FF7 was on regular Playstation (Playstation 1) ?

I remember playing that game back in the day....sofa king awesome. It took me about 3.5 months to beat the whole thing (including getting the golden chocobo).

I also bought FF8 and played that. Got to the very end and could not beat the boss.

FF7/FF8 are the only 2 versions of FF I've ever played before.

If ur looking at some RPG's try Secret of Mana.

There was some other good RPGs for SNES, but I can't remember them off the top of my head.

I loved playing Final Fight with game genie.

I didnt really get into ff8......i liked the materia system waaaaay better. God I miss that game now....I cant spend 6 months locked in a dark room playing at this point in my life though...LOL ...Cause if I start I wont stop...I know it!

FF7 is probably the best game I've ever played.

I used to play a lot of Counter-Strike when I was a freshman in college.

FF2 (FF4 in Japan) and FF3 (FF6 in Japan) were outstanding storywise and gameplay wise.

FF5 IMO had a slightly weaker story than 4 or 6, but the combat and levelling system is the best; it's like FF Tactics, where you get access to various jobs and can level up those jobs independently.

You can get an FF5 translated rom.

Chrono Trigger is another game a lot of people have a hard on for. The storyline kicks ass, but I never liked the combat system in it.

They released it for PS1 along with FF VI.

I could honestly play SM and Chrono Trigger for the rest of my life.
Chrono Trigger rocked and so did Secret of Mana. I even beat the gameboy version of Secret of Mana.
