It was July 4th, 1776, in Philadelphia, PA. when our Founding Fathers declared their independence from England. Many lost their families, homes and their very lives, in the struggle for liberty that we sometimes take for granted in our daily lives.
So while it is a time to have fun and enjoy ourselves, let us pass on these valuable lessons to our children and grandchildren. The lesson from our Founding Fathers, that freedom requires responsibility and, at times, it demands sacrifice.
