Someone at the guy was hogging the bench press area to use it for some exercise I've never seen before. He put the bar on the floor, put some small weights on it. Not sure why he didn't use a bar next to him, he had no need for the bench. Basically he squatted down to lift it up, then swung it up into a curl, like using his whole body to swing it up and down like a whole body curl? Any idea what this is? Looks like a nice way to toss your back.
