You stole my post. Before I opened the damned thread I thought, I'll post that "I can't wait to see this in Imax."cant wait to see this one in imax...
This story has always been a little private totem for me. It exemplified many of the values that I try and live by. I'm a tad bewildered now that this movie is coming out because it used to be that no one else really knew about it. I'm sorta feeling like the hipster who loved a band when only twelve people had heard of them but gets dismayed when the band is suddenly on MTV. I'm hoping that all the people who are now learning of this story will take the correct lessons from it.History Channel did a nice show on Thermophylae last night which explained the background for the battles.

I liked there old stuff better,..before they "sold out"!This story has always been a little private totem for me. It exemplified many of the values that I try and live by. Understand. My high school team was the Spartans, so I grew up with this; my main concern when I heard about this movie was that they would just max out the fight scenes & lose what made this battle a turning point in world civilisation. This story has always been a little private totem for me. Well, it's based off a comic book so I don't expect it to be a History Channel documentary. It's an epic story that can be enjoyed on many levels.Understand.
