I don't know, i think she chased a dream of fame and fortune but ended up very lonely and depressed and payed the ultimate price.

Not sure why people joke about someone dieing, there still human and its not like she's a murderer or was rapist or something.

Anna Nicole epitomized lazy gold digger. She lived a life of excess and overindulgence in almost every conceivable area. If you value yourself a good Christian bible thumper the terms greed, vanity, gluttony, and sloth come to mind. The methadone her son obtained and died from (mixed with his SSRI's) was likely her very own. She has been abusing potent medications for years to block out the reality of who she really is and what she has done - and rightly so.

If any of you have seen a special or read transcripts from her court battle(s) over the money, its quite comical while being pathetic at the same time. Some of the things she did, well, lets just say she was not a good person. She was sleeping with an old boyfriend at her house while he was on his death bed in the hospital. Her limo driver testified she told her late husband "you cant get in bed with me, you know you will wet it." The examples go on and on...

In a world where we have too many people, one less bad apple is fine with me. I suppose I dont cherish human life enough. Call me nihilistic, I say good riddance. This woman was a disgrace to every moral we hold up high. So what? - another granule of sand falls through the hour glass of humanity.

People die every single day. Tragic stories of slaughter and atrocity take place on continents (Africa) all around us. But you dont hear a sound on the Fox Report or any other media outlet. The silence is deafening. Yet when this white trash side shows body finally succumbs to the weight of abuse the world morns the famous and posts like mine are ostracized.

Move along folks, there wont be any sympathy here. We're fresh out. Like Anna, let this thread RIP.

I was not mourning her death, nor was I ostracizing you for your posts. I was merely expressing my respect for human life. I feel no inherent sadness at her passing, if I have any, it is that another human life ripe with potential was wasted in such a manner. However, that sentiment gives me no right, just as it gives you no right, to judge her life.

I am aware of the daily atrocities committed in various parts of the world. I also agree with you that it is quite unfortunate that this single death would receive more attention than the mass of individuals dying everyday in Darfur, for example. That being so, I still do not see the point in being spiteful in her passing.
 
Perhaps you are a better man than I? As to why I have indulged in the antics seen here? Well, quite frankly, because its ****ing hilarious.
 
Better? I would not be prepared to state that, just a different perspecitve, perhaps. As a side note, juding her based on normative values, especially those centered around shared, abstract moral sentiments precludes you from being a Nihilist (at least in the Nietzche sense of the Philosophy)

Nihilistic in the sense that I may have a lack of caring for the passing of a human life simply because they were human. In this case, she was a despicable example anyway.

In that context only.

Do you enjoy Nietzsche? He really wasn't a nihilist in the classical sense. His work toward the end became preoccupied (almost obsessed) with nihilist concepts and ideas though. That seemed to be his lasting legacy. Still, i can get lost in it for hours, Good stuff...

imo, the chaos theory and nihilism go hand in hand in a way, there being no real "constants" as we understand them
