I am planning a show to end all shows, so to speak, probably the end of my involvement in the music industry that I grew up in, also due to the fact that I am moving to the middle of nowhere.
Date and location of the show are being narrowed down right now, will probably be at The Palladium in Worcester, MA.
The main event that sparked this was the reunion of the band Dive, for those who do not know they are IMHO the best hardcore band ever to come out of MA. You can hear some of their tunes and read about the 1/20/07 reunion show here:

So far the confirmed lineup for the show looks like this, in no particular order:
Arise (reunion)
Dive (2d reunion show)
Converge
Hatebreed
Other bands possibly appearing:
Overcast (the best metal band ever in history, featuring Brian from Shadows Fall and Mike from Killswitch Engage, if you don't know who they are then you don't know what metal is, they have a page at

We are looking for one or two UNSIGNED local (New England/NY) band(s) to open the show. Must have a style that fits in with the bands listed above. Must have a RECENT (less than 6 months old, with current lineup) demo available for our review, must have own graphics to give to our printer (we will NOT design logos for you), must be willing to handle some promotion work to assist us, including mailings. PM me if you have such a band OR can give me a lead to someone with such a band.
