What's up with Stallone

prld2gr8ns

Idiot Savant
Anybody catch him recently on Monday Night Footbal, or Jim Rome is Burning? The dude doesn't look so hot, face is a puffy and funny looking. I can't place whether he's used to much botox, juice or what. Anybody here have any idea?

He's freaking Rocky, he's supposed to be like that LOL. I saw him on MNF and he could have helped his cause a little by saying less

I read somewhere that the face you saw was actually the now-defrosted face of Ted Williams; the article said something about Stallone being involved in some sort of odd face transplant ritual. Apparently, in an odd twist - Stallone's face now resides on Walt Disney's cryogenically frozen body.

I don't recall where I read that.

i was at the monday night game at the linc, and stallone was about five rows up and two boxes over from where i was... he looked jacked up like some one hit him before he walked into the stadium. i also walked past him in the concorse(sp?) and he really looked like ****.

I'm guessing he looked a little too much like dead Ted Williams???

Yeah definitely. Caught him on Leno last night, and his face just doesn't want to move at all. I don't know why, but I'm completely intrigued by what this guy may have done to himself. I grew up living on Rocky and Rambo so when the star shows up looking like sh!t I instantly get curious.

Yeah I caught him on Leno too. My first reactions were, Wow his face is huge and his legs are tiny!

I believe this body comp was a rather characteristic of Theodore Williams. Something odd has definately happened. Insiders now report that Stallone "sports" the feet of Howard Cosell; who knows. Any chance he will now start to look like Joan Rivers?

stallone is a juice head....does anyone remember when he was boys with Bill Phillips of EAS?

prld2gr8ns said:
Ah, I remember that. HeLL he was in the "Body-for-Life" video.

If so, then so were parts of Ted Williams, Howard Cossell and a "special", but yet to be identified, body part originally belonging to Joan.

Saw him last week on Leno. Personally, I could see the drastic weight gain but the plastic surgery was sad.

Face it bros, the guy has a wife who's about half his age and want to look (or at least appear) younger for her in public.

He ain't a spring chicken anymore either, guys. Eventually we all go to hell one way or another. That said, his face does look odd. I found myself wondering just what the hell happened to him too.

Yeah, he definitly isn't the demolition man anymore. However, dude looks normal in the balboa commercials and all. I think he knew that he would have to do a lot of press junkets and decided he needed a quick fix of something to look all purty for the cameras. He got a little bit to ambitious IMO, wonder what Rambo IV will look like?

aparently sly is going to be on wwe raw tonight...
I might just check this out. HeLL haven't really watched some good ol' wrestling for a while.... now I have an excuse I can tell everyone.

Is it just me or does he look like look like some sort of genetic experiment made out of DNA from:
(1) Jose Canseco
(2) Paul Stanley
(3) Desi Arnez

He is starting to look a little weird.

if you saw get carter a few years back which had both a juiced up stallone and mickey rouke you would reconize this juiced up pancake fan stallone..lol

So Ubi, your thinking he's done something permanent, like the result of structural bone changes that can happen with high dosed HGH? Could be, that didn't really cross my mind until now.

I've heard the tentative working title is "Big Giant Bloated Head Rambo Who Has Just a Pinch of Ricky Ricardo". I'm not sure that is correct.

If you look at the "Hollywood Reporter", you would see pretty much sequel after sequel in either preproduction or production.. and a sh1tload of Marvel/DC movies coming out in the near future... They are just reaching for the established audience.. who blames them though.

Don't be hatin' on Rambo though. ;)

I'm not - I'm glad he will be in it. I had been told they wanted John Merrick to play Rambo, but that his "face was too normal looking". That is just heresay.

Gh can bloat you like that... Acromology only happens to people who have a propensity for that condition, or at insane doses which would yield other disgusting sides.. I doubt that, I was referring to bloat... :)

Then again, what do I know.

Stallone actually is a really intelligent guy contrary to popular belief, and obviously trains very hard regardless.

Is that part about him being able to peel banannas with his feet just a myth?

LOL
I know he can crush apples with his buttcheeks... but never heard that about the bananas... intriguing..

All kidding aside, I know he knows how to cash paychecks. No fool SS.

For his age, I would rather look like him than most 60 year olds.

Hell, his body is in better shape than most people half his age! His face, well he is probably holding lots of water from his juice & gh. I doubt he had any serious surgery.

Acromology was one I forgot about with high hgh use, thanks for clearing that up and helping me remember. Putting it all together: age, career, public personna = a man who no doubt dabbles in some hgh.

You guys ripping on Stallone will eat your words when his speech at the end of Rocky B ends the tension/conflict between the US and the Middle East...."If I can change...and you can change....we all can change!"

No it won't, it'll make us say "Man I wished I could talk funny too...... ya know." Besides the US/middle east thing is in Rambo.

Ubiquitous said:
maybe he just upped his GH dose... I'm just saying..

DON'T BE HATIN' ON RAMBO

Looks to me that he's upped his doughnuts and coffee and an occassional In & Out Double Double Cheeseburger combo.

does anyone know if sly still publishing that mag? god, i remember that thing from probably two years ago, but haven't seen it recently.

No, it's at the end of Rocky IV where he ends the cold war. Rambo is the "I want what every marine wants...for his country to love him as much as he loves it." Don't test my knowledge of 80's movies

That's a great quote and as a Rocky fanatic I'll finish it for you.

"Today I've seen a lot of changes. The way you guys felt about me and the way I felt about you. At the beginning of this fight you didn't like me and I didn't like you either. Today you saw two guys killing each other but that's better then 200 million. What I'm trying to say is if I can change...and you can change....we all can change!"

I know, I just ment to say that a "new" speech(if that was what you where referring to with Rocky B) should be reserved for Rambo, seeing as that's a more political enviorment for said speech as of late.

And Ubi, "Cliffhanger" best mountain climbing movier ever.

Oh for Christ sake, bros. Some of ya'll act like you're screwing Stallone.

Next thing you know, you'll be saying that "Oscar" was the best mob movie of all time. And why not go one step further and brag about the greatest cop movie of all, "Turner & Hooch"....LOL

But I'll admit, "Lock Out " was a kick ass movie. Can't beat the acting of John Amos....LOL

Hey Turner and Hooch was good, but "Stop or my Mom will Shoot" was the best cop movie of all time.

Here is hoping the Hollywood moguls have the good sense to do a movie version of T.J. Hooker, and cast Sly in Bill Shatner's ever-popular role of TJ Hooker. Should this happen, I'm smelling Oscar nomination. Either Bea Arthur or Doris Roberts should be cast in role of the blonde eye candy (the role originally cast by the woman who marries all the rock stars - you know, Heather Simmons-Van Zandt-Marley-Paige-Von Jovi).

that was all over my head...are you Dennis Miller? Is he living in a van down by the Lake? I could have sworn it was by the river.

I do believe that Over the Top was the only arm wrestling movie ever... Hence the best. Oscar is pale in comparison to GoodFellas.

Damn, I thought we were being really obviously tongue in cheek with this.

I don't think Stallone was in Turner & Hooch... but I digress.

;)

Wait. Stallone as Barnaby Jones. His female counterpart to be played by the woman who hosts the "Biggest Loser"; in and of itself an award winning program.

Gents - lets pull together and devise a plan to revive his career, and allow it to flourish outside Rocky, Rambo and The Contender.

Maybe a movie remakle of "My Three Sons". Stallone in the Fred McMurray role. The sons to be played by Jimmy "Dynomite" Walker, John Cena and the guy who played Jethro (Max Baer). The role of Uncle Charlie you ask: None other than Billy Lane (the motorcycle guy). This has box office smash written all over it.

I've got a good feeling about this.

My bad, I meant "Tango & Cash". And it wasn't "Lock Out" but instead "Lock Up".

I'll admit, "Demolition Man" was pretty damn good. Other than the burgers and fries that he'd admitted to eating, what else do you all think he loaded on to play the sheriff in "Cop Land"?
