Music Instrument made from John Deer parts. kool Video.

    >> A good example of students with WAY too much time on their hands!
    >>
    >> -----------------------------
    >>
    >> University of Iowa Farm Machine Music
    >>
    >> This incredible machine was built as a collaborative effort between the
    >> Robert M. Trammell Music Conservatory and the Sharon Wick School of
    >> Engineering at the University of Iowa. Amazingly, 97% of the machines
    >> components came from John Deere Industries and Irrigation Equipment of
    > Bancroft Iowa, yes farm equipment!
    >>
    >> It took the team a combined 13,029 hours of set-up, alignment,
    >> calibration, and tuning before filming this video but as you can see it

    >> was WELL worth the effort.
    >>
    >> It is now on display in the Matthew Gerhard Alumni Hall at the
    >> University and is already slated to be donated to the Smithsonian.
    >>
    >> Enjoy.

Not sure if this is real or not, Looks kinda fake to me, but who knows.. Its still pretty cool even if it is fake or real..

Thats just my 2 cents.. And yes, I have also read that people have seen this as early as last yr... but its still new to me, and several others as well.

Na that's a CGI. An awesome at that! There's a whole DVD of those crazy music machines, and they play it on PBS late night sometimes.
