It was close, but I agree Jay ultimately brought the better presentation today. Still, I can't help but feel sorry for Big Ron, for what he did for the sport I wish he had come in better and gotten that 9th Sandows, securing his own special place at the top of Olympia history, above Haney and Arnold (in terms of consecutive wins).

From the pics I saw, I think Ronnie still should've won. I think even with the injury Ronnie's back looked slightly better then Jay's. Ronnie has overall the better wheels. I however am not a good BB judge.

Branch was smoother than usual. I think having the event on 2 days really hurt everyone.

Jay definitely had Ronnie this year, especially with his back. I don't know about how the pictures made them look, but in person Jay was just on it this year, and Ronnie wasn't. About having it on two days, it was amazing how much fuller everyone looked on the second night.

That "WTF" you pointed to is called a vacuum pose, dude. Jay actually pulled off a vacuum during front double biceps. He has a naturally WIDE waste but no distension. Dex btw on the other hand has noticeable distension. Dex's stomach looks a lot like a turtle shell from the side.

I think the WTF was meant for the lines, and the symmetry. Turtle shell or not you gotta admit that is the best mid section at the O. I think Dex is so much more pleasing to look at but thats JMO, im not judging. Out of Ron and Jay tho I looked at the comparisons and I think Jay deserved it this year. Ron probably thought he was going to win it for the record so didnt prepare as good as he should have before the contest. He might look totally insane next year seeing how he would REALLY want his title back.

That isn't a judging criteria. The shape of your abs has no effect on how you are judged. The seperation and detail is however judged. Jay had great detail and speration, you just can't see it in that pose because as I said he's doing a vacuum there.

From the pics I have seen so far Ronnies upper body from the front had much more seperation and a dryer look than Jay especially in the arms and shoulders, but from the back I was fu--in amazed at Jays back, it was insane. Jays legs were dryer than Ronnies, so it would be very hard for me to choose. Is it me or does Victor M. look like he has callf implants, as far as Branch, his legs were insane as usual but his shoulders just blur into his chest, remids me of big Nasser shoulders, still they were all total freaks, great line-up this year.....

dexter looked the best IMO i am a huge fan of jay and Ronnie's b/c i like the mass monster look, but dexter's physique is phenomenal and much less awkward.

I saw every picture and video, the only thing Ronnie had on Jay was more vascularity. Im glad Jay won !
