Sudden rash on my arm

Yesterday afternoon, I got this stinging pain around the bottom of my left bicep and it went away after about 30 seconds. Today I woke up with a red rash around where the sting was that measures about 10" in length and 4" in height. It stings a little and itches a little. Anyone have an idea of what it might be?

What sort of spiders and such are native to your location? I would suspect that.
 
I dunno, but if it was a spider, I would have probably either felt or seen it. The rash looks just like a sunburn, but doesn't burn.

Well you said you felt it for 30 seconds. The tiniest little ones are the ones that seem to cause the most discomfort. JMO
