6 I'd take issue with, only because without further explanation someone might think strength and size are on a one to one ratio, they're aren't. They certainly aren't unrelated either. Just needs a little more explanation is all.

7 -- The training programmes that work best for pro bodybuilders are best for everyone
8 -- You can't build muscle on a sub-maintenance calorie intake diet.

Issue again where more detail is needed. It is possible to build muscle on a submaintenance diet, it's just not very likely without a super duper on the ball training regimen and diet. The help of some sports medicine doesn't hurt either.

9 -- You can't grow if you only work each body part once a week.

Yes, technically you can. However there's growth and optimal growth. Technically you can walk across the US. You'll get across faster in a car.

10 -- You can't make gains if. you only train with weights three days a week.
11 -- You should only rest 45 seconds in between sets.

Otherwise I agree with the rest of them.

Man I wish i had that kind of metabolism.

I like number 30. There's a trainer at the gym i go to, very very big and defined upper body, yet he always wears pants. But this east coast heat wave recently forced him into a pair of shorts. Suffice it to say now I know why he always wears pants. Chicken legs with no definition. He looks ridiculous. And to top it off, this is how he was training one of his clients:

In this order:

tricep pressdowns
skull crushers
incline bench press
squats
sit-ups

I think he just blind-folded himself and threw a dart at a weider poster on the wall. There is also a guy that competes, everyone stares at him. tbh i think it's because he wears spandex shorts. But anyway, big upper body, and he does actually have legs, but for a competitive BBer they are way way to small for his upper body. And I've seen him at the gym about a dozen times. And its always the same thing. A few sets of flat bench on the smith machine for hi reps, then some curls, then cardio. Even if he's preppin for a show (which I think he is/was) wtf kind of routine is that. I feel like tellin him to save his body the trauma of all the roids and just quit cus he obviously doesnt have a damn clue.

Oh and the aforementioned trainer, I also heard him telling some kids at the juice bar that loading up on L-arginine was just as good as GH.

Yeah...he did, didn't he. Didn't even say he was sorry, did he? Did you see a sorry? I didn't.

I'm torn. I feel sad and yet...

aww u poor thing. lol.

number 3 says eating high calorie diets aren't going to make you big and muscular. i've always thought that's the way it works?

A calorie is not a calorie. If your getting most of your calories from say fat, that's exactly what you'll be. If you want to gain size (muslce) you need the proper balance of calories from protein, fats, and carbs. They all work differently in the body.

I agree with number 6, but I think that it's important to recognize that the inverse also applies:

You can be strong, but not necessarily huge.

B-Fiddy's tag team partner in the hizzouse! Between his hernia recovery and my back surgery recovery...Ahh hell who am I kidding. JB, get in here and take over. Me and 50 are going to be sitting in the corner drinking a prune juice.

He called me a jerk...and I let it go. Then he whines about what does and doesn't have anything to do with the thread.

Respect is taken very seriously around here. One thing that will piss off a staff member is when someone disrespects one of his brother staffers...or anyone else for that matter.
