Rolling Thunder- Honor POW/MIA Ride.

Headed off to the annual Rolling Thunder POW/MIA ride to the Pentagon and parade through DC and stop at the Vietnam wall. Of course i'll be getting pictures but hopfully some of ya are out that way and get to enjoy the Noise, leather clad women and honoring the fallen and missing soldiers!

It was man. An amazing day that is filled with people all over treating each other respectfully and a time to talk with vets of wars past. I've been to a lot of memorials through the years but the Vietname war memorial has to be the most moving to me. Crowd screaming everywhere but as soon as you get near the wall it fades to the background and all you hear are whispers and silent tears as peope wipe them away and sniff back the running noses.

Personal items left to honor family, friends and in a lot of cases for total strangers in hopes that they know that they cared. it's hard to put into words but I can say it's an event everyone shoould attend once.
