Damn!! i just picked up a can (its been a while since ive had any), have been reading around on sites and learning about the Nicotine benefits (diddnt want to buy a box of gum) i forgot the euphoric (spelling??) feeling you get and how much of an appetite suppresant it is.

BTW-- all i have seen of it is Wintergreen>
 
Too strong for me... I'll stick with Copenhagen. Since you haven't done it in awhile did it put you on your arse after 10 mins or so?
 
Too strong? Skoal Bandits are mild. Copenhagen has me seeing stars!

not on my ass, but i knew when to take it out (made it short since it was the first in a while) . I got a good buzz though!!:icon_lol: :icon_lol: Does Cope have the pouches>??

Yeah they have them. IMO better than trying to pack fine cut and get it to stay in one spot. Fiine cut always ends up everywhere in my mouth.
 
I'm glad you enjoy them. Pouches tend to dry out way to early for me then the damn thing breaks open:wtf: . I'll stick to the normal old fashioned way.

Supposedly Skoal was coming out with a different type of smokeless or atleast they advertised it at the Aarons 499 last year. They showed it being used by women but I didn't ever see samples or see it on the market. They are hoping the bans on smoking in public help sales.

while I do pouches, I still prefer a good ole fashion chew. Lancaster and Redman are my favs.
 
the buzz i got last night from the stuff was crazy!! had to go to bed. looks like im not going to be doing too much of it.

:icon_lol: I know the feeling brotha. That's why I dip every once in awhile. I can chew everyday, but dipping is a different story. Too many occasions like what you just went through.
 
I used copenhagen for about four months many, many years ago. I actually love the warm dirt but love my teeth and gums even more. When did copenhagen come out with the pouches? I would still probably prefer a pinch over a pouch myself.

agreed.. I had to take a step back from Cope after Iraq.. i went through 2.5 cans a day over there. NOw i cant smell cope without wanting to gag.. so im down with skoal now cause its mild
 
I love Copenhagen and Skoal, however I quit alittle over 2 years ago thanks to its effects on my gums/tongue. Pouches were good for those "cravings" in school. They were called bandits when I was dipping though.
 
wolf creek just came out with pouches
they cost $1.80

skoal pouches cost $4.29

I tasted em and can't tell hardly any difference........
 
I remember in high school when I was drunk taking skoal a couple of times. That sh1t F-ed me up more than I ever want to remember!:sick:
 
as someone who chewed for many years, and concerned about longterm risks (gums receding in particular)... I really liked the Commit lozenges that are designed for quitting smoking. Much better than the gum. They slowly dissolve in your mouth over 30-45min, alot like the time you keep a dip in

Satisfies the oral fixation - having a good buzz, and having something similar to a dip between your gum and lip.

the downsides are they are expensive, and they're also reinforcing, addictive.

Although the price is better when you buy online.
 
well i have noticed that i get a good buzz off of about 5 mins with it in and then take it out and of course brush the teeth, and im good for about 2 hrs after-- (i dont dip again in 2 hrs) but the effects are still there. i really notice the hunger suppressing values that it has also, im not hungry for hrs. I know that could be bad if you are trying to gain but when trying to lose its great.
