Say hello to the Powda

Some of you might recognize me; I'm an old T-nation forumite who quit the forums over censorship issues. I'll be on here quite often now and look forward to meeting some new faces and hopefully revisiting some old ones!

Thanks for the welcomes. From the bits and pieces I've read on this forum so far I'm quite impressed with:
1) The unbiased nature
2) The information presented
3) The knowledge present in the posters

Now THAT...I can notice. Great job. The definition is coming up as well as the size.

Your house is still a Pigsty though! LOL

And I have wood floors too, but my dog is too old to slide, but the cats sure do!

The photo's about two weeks old..so I'm getting better. Oddly I'm at the same weight or a tad heavier than most of my photos on T-nation.....that says a lot.

My lifts are nuts...I'm doing Quattro Dynamo now; for 5x3 on squats I was doing 375...I probably should have done 385. I was also doing 295 for 24" bench on 5x3. For the first time ever the arms are staying stable ABOVE 17"...normally about 17.25" but they did hit 17.5" for one day only. I was so happy and then they shrunk Bastards. I'm down to 215 now...waist is a bit under 36" around my umbilicus but my 34" pants fit nicely again....

So overall if I was to surmise my progress this year this is the best way to look at it.

Beginning of the school year in August.
Body weight - ~197-202
Waist ~ 35.5
Arms ~ 16"
Squat Max - ~350

Now 8-9 months later
Body weight - ~ 215
Waist ~ 35.75
Arms ~ 17.25
Squat Max ~ Somewhere over 4 plates..most I did was 405 and I feel I could do more now

So I've probably thrown on 15-20lbs of LBM and 0 fat so far....with lots of Velocitizing...I mean yo-yoing between.

Rockscar:
Consider something.....at one point in September I had leaned out to 188lbs; my waist was down to 33" or less.....At the end of my bulking phase about 5 weeks ago I was at over 230lbs. That's over a 40lb difference. I think that warrants a bit of a cut....
Granted if I had to do it over again I would've still cut as soon as I started the school semester down to 188-190. I probably would've done 4-8 weeks of maintenance at that weight before bulking up and I would've eaten better the three weeks I took the 1-ad and gained about 25lbs so that when I came off of it I wouldn't have been absurdly fat and then did 4 weeks on the V-Diet....So yes I've pretty much bulked straight since January.....
So overall since September I had 3.5 weeks of cutting....and I've been cutting at 3000 calories/day or so right now....
Is that yo-yoing?
Jason

Not to me it isn't. Wow, 230, then you cut. You seem to have a gift for weight fluctuation. I'm just happy to gain any pounds that I tend to never want to cut.
