Producers of Girls Gone Wild Busted

APRIL 4--The owner of the "Girls Gone Wild" video empire was arrested yesterday on racketeering charges after Florida cops learned that several underage girls were filmed topless and bathing together at a local motel. Investigators allege that Joseph Francis, 30, and his cohorts filmed the minors last week during spring break festivities in Panama City. According to cops, the "Girls Gone Wild" team brought two of the girls to a motel where they were each paid $100 for undressing, showering together, and masturbating as they sat on the side of the bathtub. Investigators also allege that Francis offered two of the girls $50 "to touch or play with his penis," and that he and the "Girls Gone Wild" photographer both knew that the girls were all underage. Along with arresting Francis and three of the multimillionaire's associates, cops executed search warrants on Francis's condominium and his corporate Lear jet. Those raids yielded a variety of electronic equipment, cocaine, and evidence of personal use of Ecstasy and pot. Most importantly, cops reported, they found explicit video of the underage girls who had told cops of their March 31 encounter with Francis & Co. In light of these allegations, it makes you wonder whether the previous "Girls Gone Wild" productions (which have raked in nearly $100 million) may also contain kiddie porn. (4 pages)

With respect to EBE's post, technically and in thie situation, 'kiddie porn' is anything under the age of 18. So a naked 17 year old would be kiddie porn, EBE is right around age 17, so I dont think hes being a pervert, etc. Its not like they video taped 6 year olds naked and whatnot, but I agree with the decision made, I think 18 is still too young.

I might get flamed, but one should stand up for their beliefs. So I will say this. Because I am 21, I will never have the moral permissibility to date a 17 year old girl. *However*, that does not mean, I, nor any of you, automatically find them so dispicable, unattractive, and utterly wrong to look upon simply based on moral values. To not *touch* is correct, this also goes for marriages right? But to look? We're all human...some girls finish puberty way before that, while other gymnasts are much underdeveloped by the time they're 20. A law, a statute, is little more than ink. Common sense and nature, as well as moral guidelines to *contact*, is sufficent IMO to safeguard young girls and dictate what we should and should not be able to see. I disagree with anyone who says 18 and 17 is a huge difference based sheerly on law. If congress passed new legislation decreasing the age, would suddenly those who initially were turned away would find new acceptance? C'mon...

I am a bit late in reading this, I just logged on. haven tbeen on site for a while. I hated that "Girls Gone Wild" and THAT Snoop Poopy Shithead"
(snoop doggy dog), Who the hell does he think he is, checking out girls snatches, etc. I used to catch the Commercial or the Infomercial for him or "girls fone wild".

I am sure they have plenty of lawsuits in the making that are not known! or WE just dont hear about. It is a shame that these girls do these things, whether drunk or under other influences.

Would u want to see your daughter on the front cover of a "video box" revealing God knows what @ the time, etc. It is a shame that they think or want to do this in order to feel sexy or wanted in the public eye.

A few months ago, I borrowed a friend's external hardrive to copy some of his files, and he happened to have a few Bangbus episodes on it. I watched one and was totally disgusted with it. These three guys pick up a girl and pressure her and coerce her into stripping and performing sexual acts. Regardless if it's fake, it's still wrong to portray women in this light. In any reputable Hollywood production, rape is always portrayed as wrong and there are consequences.

If you have to pressure women into commiting sexual acts for the camera, whether it's real or fictitious, you're sending the wrong message to your audience. Some twisted perv will watch that at home and think it will be OK to go out and pressure real women into giving them BJs. Or they'll walk up to women in the frozen foods isle and give out random gropes.

The consequences in real life are far worse than in the movies. When making these films, the makers need to keep that in mind and present their material with some taste.
