I was at my folks place and I saw that they have a blood sucrose level measuring kid. I was curious so I gave it a try.
My dad takes medication for his diabetes, and my mom said her reading is about 5 ish. I had supper prior to doing the test but mine came out 7.9 (didn't catch the unit of measurement). I will try again on an empty stomach but that reading is not peaceful.
I know diabetes can be due to genetics, as well as diet and exercise. Anything else that might alter the level? Would ph do anything, or ECA? I think not cuz it's mostly due to sugar level. IT would have to due with amount of carb, sweets ingested. How would ALA affect the reading?
