I hear ya, I'm paying my way through college and also supported and paid my ex's way through, I'm bitter as hell sometimes also. I try not to be, but when you see people who take advantage of it, the bitterness comes back so quickly. I just try and remember that in the end everyone pays their dues, one way or the other!

  5. I agree, I have to pay my whole way through. No financial help for any thing from any one. I'm bitter about it sometimes too, but at least I don't have any loans to pay off....yet.

  6. Rhino, now I see one of the things we have in common besides our birthday.  I am a CPA and have been since 1978.  Currently semi-retired and sharing my time as a Campus Minister and working in prison ministry.  Good luck on the CPA exam.

I have like over 20 grand in loans to pay off, and I only have an associates.  I want to pay them down before I start going back to school.  My next school will be a lot more expensive I think, so thats gonna be rough.  And MBA's are just expensive as hell no matter what

If I win the lottery I will pay all our ways through college.
