last season was my first time to snowboard and i fell in love w/ it. i'm looking to get my own board for this season, but don't want to spend a lot of cash. i'm 5' 7", 175 lbs.. any rec's on boards?

Hmmm dont want to spend alot of cash and wanting to buy your own board and bindings dosent go 2gether i suggest you wait till you have some money and get quality that will last.

get a used burton off ebay - 153 cm for someone your size - depends what you want you want to spend - expect to spend $300-$500 for bindings, boots, board.

i would say go to ski dazzle(thats if you live anywhere near LA, DEC 2-5) its a snow board convention, they have cheap stuff there and you could get anything you could poss. need. and upon entering ($15) you get a free day pass to big bear mt. so i would say it is worth it.
