is something wrong with this site it says im not logged in but

I am logged in i can post and everything but the main forum page has locks on all the sub sections and the log in box in the upper corner is asking me to log in

im running firefox how do i clear cookies and are cookies the ones that save my passwords on every site i log into

Tool, options, Privacy, Cookies, Clear.

Yes it saves your password. Once you clear just log in again, click "remember me" option and it will be saved again.
