Lately Ive been having a little trouble staying motivated and focused in the gym. Ive decided to order an Mp3 player and I was just wondering what your current play list/favorite work out songs are?

If you like heeaavy music like I do, try the new Dillinger Escape Plan or Deicide. It makes me super agressive!

Im a 2pac, 50, old Nas kinda guy. Have bunch of their songs on there. Metallica always remains a main-stay on my playlist during workouts. And some good house/techno mix. DJ Tiesto probably half of my techno music.

Fear Factory is one of those bands that is just made for lifting. Their music makes you feel like beating a hole in the wall, or someone's head lol. Constant double-bass drum patterns. Some other albums that are good for pumping iron:

The classics:
Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power
Sepultura - Chaos A.D.
Deicide - Once Upon the Cross
Cannibal Corpse - Tomb of the Mutilated
Suffocation - Pierced From Within
Morbid Angel - Covenant
Malevolent Creation - Retribution
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss

The new breed:
Trivium - Ascendancy
Vital Remains - Dechristianize
Kataklysm - Shadows and Dust
Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing
Hatebreed - The Rise of Brutality
Drowning Pool - Sinner
Meshuggah - Chaosphere
Krisiun - Apocalyptic Revelation
Machine Head - Through the Ashes of Empires

Which MP3 palyer did you purchase? If you didn't already, I'd recommend one that has an exdpandable memory so you can upload different types of music to the cards. The RCA LYRA is a good one. That's what I've used for the last 2-years. If you search, there are a few threads about training music. It will give you a good selection. Just type 'music' or 'MP3*' in the search function.
