Need help with lost user account.

Hey all. I use to have a account here that I started in 2007ish. I had not been on for a few years after 2099ish. When I went back on the site I could not log in nor recover my account using my email. Did the site ever go under construction?
I had some logs on here I with I could go back and check out.
So, if any knows if the site changed and reset all account or because I have not logged in the site in a year or 2 it just reset it self?
