Normally I would say gamble and bang hot hookers. But you're going with your girlfriend. So gamble and bang your girlfriend.
Seriously, there is a lot to do in Vegas between the casinos, all the shows, the good food, cirque du soleil, and everything else. There's no way you can do everything in one trip. I hope you two have a really good time.
Can you imagine living in Vegas on a bulking cycle with those cheap buffets?

Yeah, they have Helo tours of the Canyon. Never been on one, but I heard they're pretty nice. I've been there about 4 times. Got hella drunk all but once (with parents). If you don't drink while your in Vegas it's just not as fun. FYI, for you single guys. They have several swingers joints in Vegas and the surrounding cities. Pay a small fee to get in and your gauranteed some ass. I went to a place called the Red Rooster in Henderson and banged some guys wife and had a threesome with a couple of fat chicks (don't ask, I was really, really drunk and don't remember much of what happened). The space needle has a ride at the top (forgot what it's called), but it shoots you a couple of hundred feet up in a matter of seconds. It's really beautiful at night because you can see the entire Vegas skyline. I didn't gamble because I was spending my money on booze and food. I remember Ceasars Palace had an awesome seafood bar, complete with Lobster and Alaskan King Crab. There's alot more I can't remember because I was drinking 75% of the time. Good times and I'm looking forward to going back again one of these days.Originally Posted by jrkarp

Helo? Are you ex Navy or Marines? They're the only ones I know that call them helos. Army and Air Force call them choppers, and I've never heard a civilian call them a helo. I used to argue with the squids about that.Originally Posted by natedogg
A threesome with fat chicks is nothing to be ashamed of as long as they weren't too big. There were 2 vaginas and only your penis. Even if they were fat that's further than most of us will ever get.

Ex Marine. I was stationed down in 29 Palms, CA so I had unlimited access to Vegas (about 2 to 3 hours away). They were pretty husky bro. The funny thing is, is that I met my now wife the following weekend.Originally Posted by jrkarp

Yup, I'm looking forward to it. I'm staying at the Bellagio and a good friend of mine is getting married out there, so we will at least have one night just with the guys. I'm not much of a gambler, but I'm sure I'll hit up some poker. I'll mostly be hitting up the booze.Originally Posted by natedogg

Thanks for all the help fellas! I really want to go to a show or two. I may drink a bit, but I'm really looking forward to the buffets!

I am leaving for Vegas on Monday! Unfortunately I only have two nights there as it is actually a stop over to Los Angeles.
I plan to see the venetian for sure among other things. I don't think I'll be sleeping at all!

I'm leaving Denver tonight to go to Vegas. I'd like to meet some of you guys if you are going for Memorial Day weekend.
sorry to hijack.

Haha, I'm the odd man out I guess. I was at vegas for a 3 day weekend to do a meet and I *HATED* it. I'm used to overpriced **** since I live in one of the most expensive areas in Cali, and everything in vegas was MORE overpriced. I'm not into hookers, I don't really drink much unless I'm with a bunch of friends (and never before a meet), I can't stand to gamble (and the noise/smoke on the floor drives me NUTS) and the buffets didn't impress me AT ALL - a notch above sizzler but not up to my local fare.
There are like 10 different cirque de soliel shows though, all of them are pretty nifty, at least all the ones I've seen.

I love to gamble... And as far as the buffets, I have to agree that the buffets aren't spectacular and there is better food out there (I actually have pretty sophisticated taste in food) but I still love cheap all you can eat food. And again, on a bulker, it would be unreal. Best city I've ever been to for food, though, is New Oreans. Hands down.

I won a trip to Vegas about 6 years ago through my old job. I was the only single person there and also the youngest so my experience on the strip kind of lacked. The best part for me is that a few of us chipped in on a mustang convertible for the weekend and went to places outside of town like the dam, Lake Meade and a place I think was called red rocks. We also took some gravel road out in the middle of nowhere up and into the mesas.
The casinos are crazy and cool in their own way. I've been to casinos in Windsor, Canada; Cripple Creek, CO; and Colon, Panama and nothing has even compared.

I HATE casinos - went to a convention a few years ago, in a Reno hotel/casino; the stench of stale tobacco and spilled drinks, the deafening noise from all the machines, the bewildering floor plans designed to trap visitors in the gaming area, the mediocre food, high prices and predatory staff all added up to a long weekend in hell.
All that, and not a REAL poker game to be found anywhere (most "gambling" is just wishful thinking, in my view)...I couldn't *wait* to get out of there & get back on the plane (and I hate flying, too - wasn't so bad when I was 150# or less, but now...).
Anyway, hope you & your girl have a great time

OMG... f/n Sportacus as NateDogg's avatar. Thankfully my 2yo has no interest in that show.Originally Posted by natedogg
