    Lightbulb Pumping Iron

I just saw this movie and was surprised how good it was. I was also surprised that Arnold didn't delete the "joint" smoking part of it.

I didn't realize that Lou really had a very good chance of winning. I thought he should have been second, but not third.

I'M sure most of you here have seen it already (If not . . . It’s a must!)

The f*cking movie rocks. I as well saw it again tonight. It has been awhile. Realized how good a movie it truly is.

yeah I've seen pumping iron like 30 times. I found it on VHS for $2 in some obsure discount store. I love the scenes where arnie psychs everyone out with just his presence like in the pump up rook before the olympia, serge and lou keep sneaking peeks at arnold, you can tell that before the contest had even started they were doubting themselves.

Serge Nubret deserved 2nd in the heavyweight class. He was better conditioned than Lou among other things.

The best shots were when they were working out at the mecca. F*cking unreal. When Ed Corney collapsed after that set of squats, Arnold showed absolutely no surprise. Arnold just went over and calmly adjusted the weights.

It was weird how they all looked up to Arnold. It seemed as if no one wanted to compete against him. This attitude allowed Arnold to give out the "wrong advices" if anyone was close to taking the title from Arnold.

I read somewhere(maybe in the Encyclopedia) that Arnold and either Franco or Ed would take oxygen to the gym on heavy squat days. Could you imagine trying to take an oxygen tank into your gym? They would cancel your membership immediately.

I just got Pumping Iron and the unbelievable recently. I watched both they were both good. Although, I did laugh my ass off when ronnie was deadlifting and it showed some kid in blue shorts not even going parallel when squating.

Pumping Iron is definitely a classic but if you do decide to download it off KaZaa be careful of the virus.  See the Virus Alert I posted in Off Topic.  It's a new virus that you get from KaZaa.  I got it from my son downloading video files.  Bad news at the Deacon's house.
