Long awaited drs appt.......

Well I went today and my new Dr said...Surgery, he explained it simply to me, or so it seems now, 3 little wounds on and around my knee, in a wrap for awhile and on crutches, time out of work, 6-8 weeks due to my "mass" behind my knee cap, he wants to make sure it 's just something that can be drained and not something that needs to be cut out...........

Although with lupus I hear this is common, joints, and easily injuring things.......<sigh>

Well, this summer will be like last summer for me,( broken foot last yr) god I hate crutches!!!!!!!!!! I do good work...LOL :thumbsup:
 
I don't know if you've ever read the Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Dr. Balch, but it's helpful IMO, should help you deal with the lupus, maybe Dr. D can also give an opinion, he's very knowledgeable. If there's a Vitamin Shoppe by your house then you can check the book out for free for up to 2 weeks.
